Education Night - Stephanie Steele

February 4th, 2015 – Education Night:  Our presenter for February will be Stephanie Steele, a professional fine artist concentrating in Mixed Media Photography.

Stephanie Steele is a professional fine artist working in multimedia. She is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design. Steele has completed several artist residencies overseas and in the states, accomplishing work that reflects on memory, biology and fragility.  

She has worked for The Columbus Museum of Art, The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery, The Ohio Art League as the Gallery Director and Organizational Administrator. Steele has a teaching background working as an instructor for The Columbus College of Art and Design teaching both adult college credited classes and children’s classes; and has taught at The Columbus Academy.  

She has served on the board of Phoenix Rising: Chair of Marking and Outreach, Ohio Art League: Advisor to the Executive Chair of the Board of Trustees, The Alternative Fashion Mob and served as a Hostess for "Motive. For the Creative Class". Currently she serves on Central Ohio Visual Arts Consortium (COVAC) Steering Committee and Columbus Creative Industry Mixer (CCIM).
